Canyoning in Liguria & the Southern Alps

The Canyon

The Southern Alps, between Liguria and the Maritime Alps, are renowned for their canyons and mountain streams. This is one of the best places in Europe for canyon descents. The water is clear and refreshing, making it a delight to dive in during the warm summer months.

We will find ourselves in a unique environment revealing breathtaking scenery invisible from the road. Throughout the descents we will take on jumps and slides, interspersed with swimming and hiking.

Canyoning is an activity suitable for the whole family and a great thing to do with friends. Fun and enjoyable for everyone.

The Level

Canyoning is an activity open to everyone, adults and children alike (from 8 years old). If you enjoy swimming and walking, this activity is made for you.

We regularly visit many different canyons and streams. With our experience, we will suggest the canyon that suits you best.

A minimum level of physical effort will still be needed to discover the magic of the canyon.

A day in the canyon

Once the programme is set, we agree on a meeting point based on the chosen canyon and your place of residence or accommodation. If you prefer, we can also pick you up in our vehicle (service not included in the price).

From the meeting point, we will try to travel with as few cars as possible to the parking area nearest to the canyon.

At the car park, it is time to hand out the technical equipment. We provide the wetsuit, helmet, and harness suited to your size.

For some canyons, a short hike is required before reaching the starting point of the descent. Once there, everyone gets ready and the guide delivers a safety briefing with all the information you need for your descent and the use of the equipment.

Then the descent begins. Swimming, jumps, slides, hiking... all while exploring this magical world. (No jump or slide is compulsory)

At the end of the route, a short walk brings us back to the starting point. Sometimes a vehicle is used for the return journey.
